Learnex

Learnex is the site designed to distribute, promote and support the Writing Skills educational software package. As of March 2009, the site has opened offering a gallery of screenshots and a functional demo including sample exposition slides and exercises from each of the 5 areas covered. Learnex employs a php/mysql backend that provides the framework for a future progress tracking section for paying customers of Writing Skills. This functionality is included in the price of the download. The back-end also allows the content of Writing Skills to be extended solely by modifying the contents of the server.

Learnex also uses to the jQuery, javascript framework with custom code to manage an e-mail list signup and the gallery software. The code managing the actual list is custom php written on the CodeIgniter framework.

Learnex.net is also fully XHTML 1.0 Strict compliant.
